Valentine day is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrificial love of those saints. Valentine is a celebration of love but it is sad that most of those who celebrate valentine today do not really understand what true love is. Many have thought that love is just a feeling you have for someone which could easily go away. But the love that gave birth to Valentine is not a mere weak feeling; it is a decision! It is a sacrificial love that made the lover to give up everything for the loved. This love moved the early disciples and many of them chose to give their live for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The saints who gave their live as martyrs loved not their lives unto death (Rev.12:11).  The Bible said that the world was not worthy of them because they loved and sacrificed overmuch. “They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth (Heb.11:37-38).

As we celebrate Valentine, let us never forget that the reason we can love is because God first loved us. We should not forget His love that changed the world and we should try as much as we can to do something this season that will tell His gospel of love to the world. Let us celebrate the love that has no ending, the love that never pass away, the love without deceit, the love that never gives up, the unconditional love of God in Christ. He never ask us to do anything to merit eternal life, He only ask us to believe in Him who has done everything. The measurement for true love is sacrifice!

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Welcome to the year of the glorious bride!

Welcome to the year of intimacy that brings the glory!

Welcome to the year of reality beyond religion!

The word of the Lord came unto me in hibernation in His holy Presence,

It came bubbling forth as rivers in my spirit and as an unquenchable fire within my bones.

His presence was so consuming that I could hardly bear yet I did not want to leave the midst of Him,

I was so captured away in His holy glory and there were angels all around us.

His love was a purifying fire to the consuming of my flesh and my heart was as though ripped open completely to His holy fire,

His radiant light illuminated my spirit’s eyes to clearly see that He is the One that dwells in unapproachable light.

Yet He bided me to come because He paved the way on Calvary and

He opened the veil by the piercing of His own body,

What a love He displayed through His sacrifice!

I approached the Lord and His flaming eyes beheld the darkness of my soul consumed by His holy fire,

I was overwhelmed completely by His presence and I was like a dead man before the Living One.

But His hand lifted me again unto my feet and He bided me to neither fear nor tremble,

And He said unto me with voice as the rushing of many waters…

“Welcome to the throne room…

This is where I want My precious bride to always be…”

I have always known Him as love but this time He came as a fiery love and consumed in My soul that which is carnal,

For I cried unto Him in My desperation to show me more of His reality and take me beyond the gloom of religion.

Little did I know of the weight of what I was asking as you cannot come to Him with darkness in the soul and leave with it,

His light is so purifying and it is so hard on the flesh as I wasn’t even sure if I was still living…

I was in the throne room of Jehovah the Love Himself!

Yet He that sits upon the throne said nothing,

For His word is in His Son the Lord of all.

This is what the Lord would say unto you:

You are the church of the First born that are written in heaven,

His blood is the ink that inscribed your name in the book of life.

You are a bride adorned for the royal Groom,

But how little have you walked in this reality.

You are a people bought with an incorruptible price,

But how little have you walked in this truth.

You are a nation redeemed with the Lambs own blood,

Yet you sometimes fear as though your salvation were a weak thing.

I see you in all that you do says the Lord,

I see your struggles to stay true in the world of lies.

I see how you have kept the faith.

I see your tears of love as they drop on Me.

I see your wounds and all your pains,

And your sweet worship ascends to Me.

I know that you have little strength,

And you have kept my Word.

And I am touched by the feelings of your weaknesses,

I bear them with you in love and deep affection.

And I intercede for you in My compassion at all times,

Yes, I daily make prayers for you before the Father.

You did not deny Me when the going was tough,

I will not deny you before My Father and His angels.

You did not compromise in your beliefs,

You did not bow to the evil prince of this world.

Shakings came and diverse disasters,

The world shook with the wrecks of darkness.

But you My bride stood in My faith and love,

And uphold My name in the planes and heights.

Now I say unto you that 2011 is gone forever,

Even with all the trials in it.

And it shall never be seen again,

The year that is now here shall not be like the one that is gone.

2012 is the year of the ascended life,

It is the year of the newness of life and new things for you.

And the government of the church shall be strengthened,

It shall be a year of reward and the light of Christ shall shine.

For some people, lack and hunger shall come,

But for you that thirst and hunger after righteousness My blessings shall measurelessly abound.

And when people shall say there is a casting down,

You shall boldly declare there is a lifting up.

Behold I come in My church to pioneer new works,

And the apostolic grace shall be clearly seen.

Many shall step out in this grace and power,

And the kingdom shall be expanded in the spirit of apostleship.

The glory of the Lord shall radiate upon His bride,

For the wedding feast of the Lamb is almost here.

Prepare yourself Oh chosen bride,

Adorned are you in the robe of righteousness.

Now, keep yourself in the Love of the Father,

And harbor not hurts or resented feelings.

But walk in My love and forgiveness,

And walk closely with Me in my Word.

For the time is closer than you think,

The rod of the wicked shall not fall upon the just.

And I will preserve My bride from the afflictions in this world,

I am coming behind you to heal all your wounds.

I am coming in you to work with you,

I am going ahead of you to make all crooked paths straight.

Where you’re weak, I bid you to lean on Me for I am strong for you.

Come with Me this year and let us build and be together,

I want your time more than your gifts.

And I want to be involved in your daily decisions,

I just want to be together with you more than anything else.

I want you to come out of the turbulence in this world,

To come out of all the distractions around you,

And come alone with Me inwardly and embrace My affection,

I want you to engage in the practice of My Presence this year.

And to always be conscious of My abiding Presence with you,

For above all that you have to give or offer I desire you.

Just you and me alone in the secret place so come and let us play together,

Let Me take you to see some hidden places.

The places that are hidden from the world are not hidden from you but for you,

Let Me show you the splendor and glory of My Father’s house.

I want to make this place imprinted upon your heart,

I want to teach you how to really see.

I want to train your inward eyes and your sensitivity,

And give you a glimpse of the heavenly Jerusalem.

I have opened the way to the holy of the holies,

Because it is where I want you to dwell.

But it causes pain in My heart that many of you still push it to the future,

Whereas you dwell within the throne right now in your spirit.

It is the place where in truth you’re positioned,

But you have largely allowed your mind to obscure your heart and it is only with your heart that you can discern the truth.

Only the radiance of My Presence can light you up to clearly see.

I am calling you forth into a deeper level of intimacy,

You have seen Me time and again in My written Word.

But I want you to behold Me as the Living Word,

But are you really ready for that which it will cost you?

Are you ready to sacrifice your flesh?

Are you ready to be consumed by My fiery Love?

Or will you back off for the desires of the lower life?

But I know you; I know that you desire Me,

And I see all the promises you’ve made to Me.

Even all the ones that you have made and broken,

But I love you and I understand you more than you do yourself.

I vowed My everlasting love to you,

And I seal you forever with My Holy Spirit.

So that you’re bound to Me forever,

I washed you from all your sins and sacrificed My life in love for you.

I saw the union with you as I hung upon the cross,

And it kept Me there because I desire you.

The thought that you will be Mine and that I will restore you to My Father kept Me going,

The thought that I will restore you to My Father caused Him to sacrifice Me for you in the agony of love.

And the agony is gone and the glory is here for the Father loves you even as much as He loves Me,

I and My Father love you with an everlasting love.

In the trials of life rejoice because you have a home,

Rejoice because you await My coming to take you home.

Rejoice because I and the father live in your heart and because the Spirit of the Father is your eternal Partner,

Cheer up My beloved bride and rejoice always in My love.

Be not afraid of anything for nothing in this world shall conquer you,

This is 2012 and My greatest desire is to have you.

So in all that you do for Me and in all that you give to Me,

Always remember that I desire you above anything else.

 So give Me yourself oh My dearly beloved bride,

And the more you stay with Me the more of My glory you will bear.

And your path shall be brighter and brighter unto a perfect day,

And My wisdom shall make you wiser than all your enemies.

And the world shall wonder and the nations shall tremble,

At the glory of the Groom in His bride without blemish and many shall come to the brightness of your light.

But all this will be as you come out of the turbulence around you and withdraw alone with Me in the secret place within,

As you keep your heart away from the passing things below and set your affections on the eternal things above.

Come to the throne life in the year 2012 and abide herein,

Come and renew your commitment and vow to Me.

Come away with Me oh My dearly beloved bride and let Me show you the treasures of My Father,

Let Me rise upon you as the Sun of righteousness and we shall soar together with the healing in My wings.

Christmas is God’s boundless love in Christ invading the selfish world of humans! It is a celebration of the birth of the Love that brought redemption and restoration for humanity. It is in it that Jehovah the Love released all that He is to humanity in His Son. The Star that shun in Bethlehem 2011 years ago was noticeable because of love. The selfish human world saw the light of the Radiant Love descending from the celestial world above. He was the long awaited Love and the life of all existence was dependent upon Him. The Bible can be summed up in one line- God is Love! The name “God” means “the Self Existent One” or “the Supreme One”. It is the universal name of the Supreme Deity that owns all existence. The One who created all things but was created by none! It was difficult to really be able to describe in full what God was like in the Old Testament but when He came down in the New Testament, the world saw Him for the first time and it was Love that they saw. God is Compassion fully manifested in Jesus Christ! Those who put their faith in Christ also received the quality of God’s Spirit which is Love. It is shed abroad or poured forth into the center of their being or their human spirit which is sometimes called the heart. We know from the Scriptures that the greatest miracle of all times is this Supreme Love coming to take residence in the heart or spirit of human beings. The world has not recovered from the invasion of this Supernatural Love since the Progenitor of the Supreme Love race landed in Bethlehem over 2011 years ago.  Jesus brought the Love quality of God’s Spirit to make a new race of human spirits who will turn the world upside down with love (Acts 17:6).

The world saw them and noticed in them a love that was never known on earth before until the Man Jesus (the Christ of God) brought it and they call them “Christ-ians” first in Antioch (Acts 11:26). This appellation means that they are the species of the Christ who possess His exact quality of Spirit and walk like He does. The Love invasion was too visible and manifested in them for the selfish world not to notice them. The light of Love was so manifested through them that the dark world saw it. That love was not just manifested in them but it was also manifested through them. We read about them today as though they were any different from us but they are not different from us by quality but they are different from us by expression. They allowed the love in them to dominate them more than their senses and that was the secret of their success. Those men possessed in them the same Holy Spirit that we have today. Love finding expression in humans is what is called Christianity!

Religion has tried to counterfeit it over the years and so it is sad today that several who profess Christianity are just nothing but religious folks who professes certain form of godliness but denies that which brings the power; they deny love, they deny the Holy Spirit. The denial is not in their words as much as it is in their walk. They profess to be love-born but they walk as mere selfish humans (1Cor.3:3). This is another plague that has plagued Christianity; the religious spirit, the counterfeit of the power and quality of Love. For the Church to walk again as the species of the Christ of Love we must defeat this religious spirit and it is only the original that can expose the counterfeit. There must be those that will rise again today in relationship and not religion, in life and not lie, in truth and not denial. We must rise up to manifest to the world again the Christ of love and power for only then can we work the works of God.

The Holy Spirit is Love for He cannot be separated from God and if God is love then so is His Spirit.  Your heavenly Father loves you as much as He loves Jesus your Brother and He has blessed you with all blessings in Him and exalted you to sit in Christ at His majestic right hand in the heavenly places promoting you far above all principalities and powers and every name that is named (Eph. 1:3; 21;2:5-6). WAO!!! You’re a super spirit being in Christ because everything that God is resides in Christ and everything that Christ is resides in you (Col. 1:19; 2:9; John 1:14-16). You cannot be defeated!  You cannot be cursed! You’re above all those things that are bellow because you’re born from the above (John 3:31).

You are the offspring of Jehovah the Agape! So you are of Love and love never fails (1 Cor. 13:8). So you will never fail as long as you walk in this love. Let the world tremble and the oceans move, let the sea swell and weary again. You will still be calm for the Love DNA of God is the stuff that you’re made of and that love is like the mount Zion that can never be moved but abides forever. You are unmovable, unshakable, unsinkable and undefeatable in Christ Jesus! You are born of LOVE and you have overcome the world! Love is your life force! Have you noticed the common symbol for love is the heart? What happens when the heart stops breathing? Life in the flesh is terminated right? In the same way, if we stop loving, we will start dying. “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death” (1John 3:14).

Remember that in the Garden of Eden the sin of Adam and Eve was that they stopped loving and starts exploring selfishness. They stopped loving God who is Love and they started yielding to the devil. You remember that Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments? (John 14:15). This means that failure to keep the commandment of God to not eat from the forbidden tree in that garden was the indication that they stopped loving God at that minute and then they started to die. First they died spiritually in which there heart or spirit was separated from God who is Love. This separation form Jehovah the Love is death because true spiritual life cannot be served or separated from Love. Every time the “word” God occurs in the Scriptures, it is Love occurring because God is Love (I John 4:8) and so, we can write Love in its place. Let’s do a substitution of the Word God with Love in John Chapter one and see what is revealed:

            JOHN 1:1-5

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Love, and the Word was Love.

2 The same was in the beginning with Love.

3 All things were made by Him (Love); and without Him (Love) was not anything made that was made.

4 In Him (Love) was life; and the life was the light of men.                                          

5 And the light (Love) shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Love is the life force of all existence; those that are separated from Love are now the forces of darkness and death. Sin itself is nothing but violation of love; it is selfishness. You see, Love in us have overcome the world and the enemy’s daily struggle is how to use whatever opportunity that he gets to drag us out of this love. Let us do another substitution in 1 John chapter four to establish this truth of our victorious live of love: 

1 JOHN 4:4

4 Ye are of Love, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He (Love) that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Our life and success is solely dependent on love, we cannot prosper truly more than we love in truth. Ever wondered why some people begin to have heart attack when they start holding hurts against people in their hearts? It is because when we start holding hurt against people in our heart, at that point we start separating our heart gradually from Jehovah the Love and binding it to the dark side, and we start yielding to the enemy who is manifested in selfishness. This attracts demonic attack and heart malfunctioning. Because a strange thing is introduced into our system and this strange virus of selfishness carries the seed of death which grows with time. It drops that seed in our mind. And then the Holy Spirit starts dealing with us about forgiveness and freedom because folks fail to realize that when you hold hurts against people no matter what they have done against you, not only are you putting them in bondage but you’re sinking yourself deep in a grievous bondage too. Failure to forgive others and keep your heart in love will affect your health. It will weaken your spirit, afflict your soul and affect your physical body negatively. We must learn to drop every weight that does not agree with our nature because it will bring spiritual reactions. Un-forgiveness does not agree with our love nature. “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour” (Eph. 5:2). We are commanded to live the sacrificial live of love where we seek not our own good but that of others.

Another thing that makes believers to malfunction is wrong diet; you cannot feed a love-born spirit on selfishness. You cannot feed a light-born spirit on darkness. You cannot feed a righteousness-born spirit on filthiness. You cannot feed a God-born spirit on the devil. You cannot feed a faith-born spirit on unbelief. You cannot feed a Compassion-born spirit on coldness. You cannot feed a freedom-born spirit on bondage. You cannot feed a grace-born spirit on the law. You cannot feed a Christ-born spirit on the antichrist.  You cannot stay healthy in this filthy world without the discipline of godly diet! You must select what you feed on because if you don’t choose what you feed on, the world will feed you with anything including those things that are poisonous to your system. You can’t be controlled by the system of this world because you’re heavenly. A heavenly being cannot be subjected to earthly dictates. You’re born to abide forever but the world will pass away with its lust thereof. When lust is no more you that are love will remain for love abides forever!

Love sent His Love-born Son into the world to reproduce many more sons and daughters in love and bring us into the Love Family forever.

So what must we do at Christmas? We must love, forgive, give and present Christ the boundless love. One thing is certain, if you stick to Love you will overcome!

1 JOHN 4:7-16

7 Beloved, let us love one another: FOR LOVE IS OF GOD; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

AGAPE CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH 1 COR. 13

On the ninth day in the month of March, the year been 2008, a Hand touched me very early in the morning while I was still in bed at exactly five o’clock.  I woke and looked up to see who it was and behold, it was the Lord standing by my bed. He didn’t look any different than He was in all the times that He had visited me, beginning from when I was five. Everything about Him can be summed up in one word; Love.  Jesus told me on that day that the Word of God is the soul’s injection. He was signifying to me by the Holy Spirit that the human soul is often sick with all kinds of carnal thoughts and infections. Injecting it constantly with God’s Word is the only way to wholeness. We cannot keep our thinking straight without the Word of God. Ephesians 5:26 speaks of the washing of water by the Word and Jesus said that we are clean by the Words that He speaks to us (John 15:3). And in John 17:17, Jesus asked the Father to sanctify us by His truth and He went further to say “Thy Word is truth”. The Bible in Romans 12:2 urges us not to be gradually changed to the image of this world but to be transformed or transfigured by the renewal of our mind or soul. That renewal is through the Word of God and it is the Word of God that is the still waters that restores our soul according to Psalm 23 and Ephesians 5:26.

The sickness of the soul comes from the infection of the dark thoughts and scenes that we often pick up from the media (TV, newspaper, radio, postal, movies and etc). They also generate from Satan’s suggestions into our minds or the wrong things that we hear people say around us. Now, that takes us to the reason why most of the battle we will face here on earth will be against thoughts in the mind.  2 Corinthians 2:11 says “Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”. The word translated as “devices” here also means “thoughts” in the original language.  So it is also proper to render it as “Lest satan should get an advantage of us: FOR WE ARE NOT IGNORANT OF HIS THOUGHTS”. This clearly points out that satan aimed hard at our though-life and this is a daily battle. Whatever dominated your thought dominates your life because the Bible says that you are what you think (Prov. 23:7). So we, been not ignorant of satan’s devices (“thoughts” in the original text) should rise up with the armor of the Word of God which is the sword of the spirit so that the devil does not take advantage of us (Eph. 6:17). Through which we can bring every thought into submission to the authority of Christ. This however is only possible to the degree to which we apply our minds to the Word of Christ. And it cannot be done once and for all, so if you take the Bible and read Genesis to Revelation, and give your full attention to it, using it to defend yourself against all the wiles of the enemy, it will interest you to know that you will only succeed in putting the devil to rest only for a while, as soon as you are getting yourself to attend to other businesses, he will come back again and this time possibly in some more intimate way. Remember when Jesus used the Word against Satan; He was only able to make him depart from Him for a while, so there is no amount of spiritual warfare can put out the devil forever all at once:

LUKE 4:9-13 (The Message Translation)

9 For the third test the Devil took Him to Jerusalem and put Him on top of the

Temple. He said, “If you are God’s Son, jump.

10 It’s written, isn’t it, that ‘He has placed you in the care of angels to protect you;

11 they will catch you; you won’t so much as stub your toe on a stone’?”

12 “Yes,” said Jesus, “and it’s also written, ‘Don’t you dare tempt the Lord your

God.’”

13 That completed the testing. THE DEVIL RETREATED TEMPORARILY,

LYING IN WAIT FOR ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY.

The next time, Satan came to Jesus through Peter

MATHEW 16:20-23

21 ¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto His disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

22 Then Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

23 But He turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind Me, Satan: thou art an offence unto Me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Now it should interest you to know that the same Peter was used of God earlier on that same day to confirm that Jesus was the Son of God. Sometimes the devil can come to us in those whom the Lord comes through, if they yield to him. Remember Satan seeks opportunity:

MATHEW 16:16-17

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

In the same man in whom the Father had just come to Jesus and confirmed that He was His Son in Mathew 16:17-18, the devil came to Him in the next in a few verses later.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-5

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

The Word of God is our sure weapon for winning mind battles; it must be injected into our soul constantly if we would maintain the mind of Christ which is pure, productive and celestial or heavenly. The Word must be our daily meditation if we would live the heavenly life and not be controlled by the earthly system like earthly beings!

The enemy of your soul is coming for your soul but the Word will keep you if you will keep yourself in it. If Jesus never meditated in the Word and store them in the midst of His heart and mind, where do you think He would have pulled out all those Scriptures that He used against the devil in His temptation? No deposit, no return! You should talk the Word of God back to the devil each time he suggests something to your mind. Start storing up the Word in your heart and mind and exercising yourself in it on daily basis until you become the Word! It is the way to all-round fitness and it is a commandment directly from God:

PROVERBS 4:20-23

20 ¶ My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. {health: Heb. medicine}

23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 

Worshiping the Lord and ministering unto Him
His word came into my spirit and bubbles in prophecy
And this is what the Lord would now say unto you:

You that have been faced with challenges,
You that have been going through a lot of late
You that have prayed until faith seem weak 
And victory seems as though it’s fully lost, 
You that have battled continually for your family
And it seems as though the enemy is still at rage,
You that desires peace but have been in war,
To you that have tried to rise again and again 
But the waters of life has been keeping down, 
To you that financial challenge have been against,
To you that struggle with rebellious children 
To you, whose loved ones are lost in the world
To you that suffers from diverse addictions
And have groaned in pains for day and nights
Wondering where the Helper of the saints is,
Questioning where the Holy Comforter is

To you that have labored and labored again 
But have not been crowned at all in life,
To you that have been battled over and again
In body with sickness and in mind with sorrows, 
To you that have diverse emotional distresses
And feelings that you can’t explain to anyone
To you that is looking for the recovery of all,
To you that have been having too long nights,
To you that have been assaulted a lot in life, 
To you that knows not the love of a mother
Or ever feel the touch of a father’s heart.
To you that have struggled with hang-ups
Whose wells of pains are until now unhealed 
To you with broken dreams and shattered visions
So tired of dreaming in the journey of live again
You that have seen prophecies and visions delayed

To why bad things happen to good people,

It is sealed with Me forever in deathless Love

Let all that is in this world of thick darkness

From My Presence to rise above all your battles

For Love you see, is the quality of My Spirit
Therefore take hold of the guarding shield of faith

Only to the degree to which you love in truth 
And you will only be able to love in truth 
To the degree to which you’ve taken My Love
For nothing in My kingdom works without it

So I call you this day to return to My unfailing Love

I call you this day to return to My sustaining Spirit!
Return now unto love the quality of My Spirit!
For apart from me, yea, apart from My Agape Love
You can do nothing of your own mortal self.
All that I offer you today is My unconditional Love
And if you take it, it will keep you beyond all conditions!

            GENESIS 1:27-28

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

When God created the humankind in the beginning of creation, He created them in both the male and female form and named them the humankind. Now, God spoke the blessing over them and those blessings were not optional, they were compulsory. He commanded them to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to have dominion and to subdue it. The blessings that God pronounced over them was very important to their destiny, it was a series of prophetic blessings and commandments.

The last two words of the blessings however revealed something that was very remarkable to their destiny. God told them to subdue the earth and have dominion over the swimming fish, the flying birds and every living thing that moves upon the earth. Now, if you take a look at those two words (“dominion” and “subdue”) in the original text of the Hebrew language in which it was said, you will be amazed how it suggests that there was an enemy that would want to take the earth from them who must be subdued or conquered. The word translated as “subdue” in the original text also means to conquer or bring into subjection by force. God blessed the humankind with the ability to conquer the earth and bring the earth and the devil into subjection. If there would be no enemy, then there wouldn’t be anyone to be conquered or forcefully bring into subjection, isn’t it?

The Hebrew word that was rendered as “have dominion” in that passage also suggest the same thing; it means to tread down, or subjugate. It also means to prevail against, reign over or take control of.  So, the humankind was to do all that on the earth. God saw that the enemy was coming in his tricks in attempts to take the earth from the humankind and He blessed the humankind with the ability to defeat him and subdue or keep him underfoot forever.

The devil was obviously one of the “living thing” that were moving upon the earth when God command the humankind to have dominion over every living thing that moves upon the earth. “And have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, AND OVER EVERY LIVING THING THAT MOVETH UPON THE EARTH” (Gen 1:28). God expected them to keep the devil under!

God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, putting them in charge of all things. However, the devil had fallen from heaven and since the heaven belong to God, He cast him out to the earth bellow. God knew that Adam and Eve had the full authority to send the devil out in case he shows up in the garden because they are the determinants of who they allow in their garden or domain. The Bible says that God made the heavens and the earth but the heaven of the heavens belongs to the Lord and concerning the earth, it says that God has given it to the children of men:

“Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: BUT THE EARTH HATH HE GIVEN TO THE CHILDREN OF MEN” (Psalm 115:15-16).

God put the humankind in charge! He turned the earth over to them. He trusted them with total authority over it. When God puts someone in charge of something, He’s not like a human who messes with other’s affairs; He lets them perform the duty without His interference because He knows they are capable. He wouldn’t withdraw the authority He has given because the gifts and callings of God are without repentance (Rom. 11:29).

Now Satan came around in the Garden of Eden and since he was a spirit and would need a physical body to operate on the earth, he entered into the serpent. Satan in the serpent picked up a conversation with the woman. He started the way he knew would catch her attention. He asked if God had asked them not to eat of every three in the garden. The woman picked interest in the conversation and she began chatting with the devil. She endured in that conversation until she was deceived. You see, at any point in time she could have stopped that conversation. She could have said what God said and shut out the devil. She could have command the devil to leave her garden and he would have obeyed her because the garden wasn’t given to the devil but to Mr. Adam and Mrs. Eve.

The woman engaged in an unprofitable conversation with the devil and gave him so much opening into her mind by so doing until she fell. Through that treason in Eden, the humankind fell and Satan took over the lordship of the earth from them. But thank God that Christ has come to seek and to save that which we lost (Luke 19:10).

The Bible warns us not to give place to the devil at all:

” Neither give place to the devil” (Eph. 4:27).

The devil also comes to us today, tempting to see if we would allow him but we should never allow the devil in our spiritual and physical domain. As the old saying goes, you cannot stop the bird from flying but you can stop it from pitching its nest over your head. We cannot stop the devil from operating on earth before his time expires but we can stop him from operating within our own territory. You can stand for your family and tell the devil to leave in the name of Jesus.

You see, God didn’t interrupt the conversation between Eve and the serpent, He didn’t answer the devil in the defense of Eve; He already blessed them with the ability to subdue him so it was needless for Him to get in the deal. In the same way today, several believers are busy asking God to bind the devil or do something about the devil for them but He will not. God has given us believers the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and nothing shall by any means hurt us. “And He (Jesus) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:18-19). We are the ones that should rise up and take authority over the devil, not God. God prophesied in Genesis 3:15 that Jesus Christ, the Seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent and Jesus did it. The prophecy is now fulfilled! That which Adam failed to do, Jesus did successfully! You and I can now command the devil to leave our garden in the name of Jesus Christ! It is time to rise up and tell the devil to leave our garden. Your own garden could be your marriage, it could be your home, and it could be your work or ministry. It could even be your mind that the devil is trying to mess with. It could be your body that sickness is trying to mess with, it could be your child that the devil is trying to mess with, and it could be anything of yours. Stand up in the name of Jesus and command the devil to leave. The devil has messed with you long enough, it high time you tell him off. Tell him off your finances! You probably have hired him through ignorance but it is not too late to fire him now. Don’t be like Eve who condoned the devil and yielded to him but be like Jesus who rebuked the devil and gave him no place.

Stop talking what the devil is doing!

Several Christians today go about telling people of the hard times they’ve been having with the devil. Don’t let the devil make you his public relation officer (P.R.O) who broadcasts his works about but talk of the wondrous works of Jesus Christ and shut down the devil. God is watching you and waiting for you to take charge of your garden and subdue it. Whatever you celebrate or talk so much about will multiply, so maintain the confession of your faith in God’s Word throughout all circumstances. Talk the Word of God into manifestation and not what the devil is doing.

Your garden is your garden and you alone own the right to whom or what stays in there. Give no place to the devil! Satan is defeated!!!

In John Chapter four, Jesus the Wisdom of God and the perfection of love and vision stood by the well of Jacob, at the outskirt of the gentile village of Samaria. He was waiting for one little woman who was the key to an entire city. He stood waiting patiently for her, and the mystery was that when that woman showed up, she wasn’t a “Virgin Mary” but more or less a prostitute living with another woman’s husband after her fifth divorce. She was a temptress! How amazing is the visionary power of Divine Love, how He sees the significant in the insignificant and the potential in the unpromising. He helps them discover who they are by seeing in them what they and others are too blinded by weaknesses, circumstances and controversies to see in themselves.

There are mysteries that only love can see and one of   those mysteries is the treasure in the insignificant, impious and the most defiled. Jesus stood there for that woman in a very sunny afternoon, enduring the sun for the love of a woman so unloved by many. Who could have taught that the Savior would endure the scorching sun for the treasure in a temptress?

How strange and wild the tastes and choices of God sometimes appear to mortal humans? How far His ways does surpass all understanding? The perfection of love was waiting to reveal Himself for the healing of a woman so wounded and defiled, a woman so impious and highly despised. She was so insignificant that she had gone through several relationships without being able to keep any; she was just another ordinary woman. But then, Extraordinary Love was deeply interested in her, and this time, the relationship wouldn’t fail because she wouldn’t have to keep Him; He would keep her and He cannot fail. God has hidden His most treasured gifts in the most insignificant vessels, so much that the unqualified will not discover them.

We can’t really discern the truth beyond the extent to which we love.

Every mortal is born spiritually blind since the great fall in Eden, but the supernatural love of God is the light that illuminates our eyes to discern the reality. True vision cut beyond ethnicity, racism, pride and prejudice, it cut beyond the skin and the surface to the internal to see the truth as it is. Only love can rightly judge. The Supreme Love look beyond the surface and the surrounding of that woman and saw a thirsting and dying soul  crying for freedom, and He reached out to her healing with His love, and her thirst with His living water. How misjudged, wounded and despised she must have been until she met the healing Love in Christ. Jesus restored her in full, so much that she went back into the same city where she had no voice and testified with so much power that she brought many unto the Savior.

 God has always been interested in the weak, the frail and the fitly and when He snatch them, He wash them up in His love and make them new. He’s got a huge track history of going for the unqualified and the most despoiled. He’s a treasure hunter but strangely, He visits the trash bins and the garbage places of this world in His treasure hunt and picks up the rags and rubbish and reshapes them to suit divine purpose. God sees the treasures in the trash and the rare in the rubbish for His vision is untainted by the darkness that beclouds the selfish world. Oh how He must feel, seeing that His treasures are condemned to the trash by this world and that mortal humans lack the potency to see His deposits in the despondent and His treasures in the ordinary.

When He was ready to choose a nation, He snatched a gentile out of the stronghold of idolatry. Abraham of Hur was the son of Terar, a carver and seller of idols. His first experience was never with God. But Jehovah the Love snatched him out of the idolatry and made him a chosen one, Israel came out of Abraham’s seed. A Jew is hidden in a gentile and a saint in a sinner; the treasures are in the temptress so the unqualified will despise them. God is hunting for those which humans despise, for in them are His greatest treasures.

When God looks at you, He does not see your weakness; He sees your realness because it is Perfect Love looking at you.

“According as He (God) hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love” (Eph. 1:4).

“For God so loved the WORLD” is a wonderful phrase. If God didn’t love us unconditionally, we would have no hope.
John 3:16 gives us a picture of God’s love: “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life” (The Amplified Bible).

“Whoever” means anybody! The most vicious and vile person you can imagine is a “whoever.”

I am so grateful for the day I believed in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. The day we each believe in Him is the day everything changes for us. We switch tracks. We get off the road of death and destruction and get on the road to abundant life.

First we believe in Jesus. And as we get to know Him through spending time with Him in prayer and in His Word, each day we begin to see that we can trust in, cling to and rely on Him as the source for every aspect of life.

Every abominable thing in us is exchanged for every wonderful thing heaven has to offer. We begin to look at and handle the situations in our lives from Jesus’ perspective. We realize that living every day by the principles and power of God’s Word is the only way to exist.

I have learned God wants things to go well with us. He has taught me how His love works in my life, how His Word and the laws of the Spirit work for the good of His children. Everything He has provided in this abundant life is a product of His love.

Our Father loves us with perfect love. It’s unqualified and incomparable. Even if we get off track here and there, He loves us right back onto the right path. He puts us right back into the stream of His will. Isn’t it wonderful to be God’s children?

He not only made provision for us to be born again into His family but also adopted us as dear children. You are greatly loved and dearly prized.

Just like a parent loves a child regardless of the child’s actions, so God loves us. He has taken on the responsibility to feed and clothe us, give us the desires of our hearts, keep us healthy and whole, deliver us from trouble, teach us in all wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and guide us throughout our lives. His love covers everything!

What glorious love the Father has bestowed upon you and me. He intends for every person to receive and experience this love.

I see from the first words of blessing the Father spoke to Adam in the Garden of Eden to the last words Jesus spoke to His disciples before He ascended to heaven, the message has been based on God’s love.

Words such as “be fruitful,” “multiply,” “replenish,” “have dominion” (Gen. 1:28, KJV) communicate God’s love for the world. And, “‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them’” (Matt. 28:19, NKJV), says to take the Father’s love to the world!

Every word Christ spoke and action He performed had something to do with the Father’s love for us. And that love always changed people’s lives.

That’s how each of us received God’s love, salvation and everlasting life. We heard and accepted the good news of Jesus Christ.

For most of us something changed immediately. And for all of us our lives have changed for eternity.

Now, because His love dwells in us it can come through us to people we encounter. And when it does, they too are changed!

“For God so loved the world” —from before the foundation of the earth until this very day—is indeed a wonderful phrase. His love changes everything!

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the COMMUNION OF THE HOLY GHOST, be with you all Amen” (2 Corinthians 13:14)

The word “communion” here is the Greek word “Koinonia” which means partnership, participation, intercourse, fellowship among others. Communion with the Holy Spirit is like standing at the edge of a great sea and attempting to reach further. It’s a journey into the deep from the shallow to the deepest until deep calls unto deep. “Deep calls unto deep at the noise of your waterspouts: all your billows are gone over me.” (Psalm 42:7)

We begin with our feet in the water, and then we go even further. We reach where the water has taken up the knee, but we are not to stop there. We reach further and we are waist deep in the water, but that’s not our destination. We then reach further-we go deeper until we are lost in the sea- caught up in the midst of God. It’s the deepest experience of worship till we do not want to stop again. That’s the level where revelations flow freely. It’s a place where the supernatural becomes easy. It’s a level of intimacy with the Spirit that all are called to, but only very view has attained it. It’s a spirit to Spirit affair, it is not something that one does without another, the Spirit and the believer responsively and actively relate. It’s a love affair in the kingdom of our Lord. It’s the first calling of every believer to fellowship with the Lord. More than any thing we have to offer, more than all that we can do for the master. Above all that we consider of great importance is God’s craving for fellowship with us. We are the true worshipers, but do we really worship? We must increase the time we spend in fellowship, we must come out of our minds into the spirit, and we must disconnect from all distractions and be attracted to worship. Every addicted God lover is an addicted God worshiper. It’s an affair of the Spirit because we relate with God’s Holy Spirit with our spirit. As we advance in the relationship, as the communion becomes deeper we are just caught up into the supernatural and we loose every touch with the natural, this is true worship that the Master spoke of in the conversation of love with the woman from Samaria in John 4:23.

“But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the father in Spirit and in truth; for the father seeks such to worship him”

God is looking for worshipers and not just worshipers but them that will worship in the Holy Ghost and the Word of God that is truth  ”sanctify them by thy truth, thy word is truth” (John 17; 17.) We are the true worshipers, not the Old Testament saints, we are the ones who have God as our Father and we know it. We are those that have received the Holy Ghost, the power to become sons has been given to us; we are the ones that are given the living Word – the Word of truth. God’s Spirit hungers for intimacy with the body of Christ. It’s high time we realized that several believers are not responding to the call of the Spirit to communion. Many of us have been carried away by distractions of the world and the things we so love down here. It’s time we respond to the cry of God’s Holy Spirit. Who is this Holy Ghost? The Holy Ghost is the first to be revealed of the Godhead but the last we get acquainted with. Right there in the very first chapter of Genesis is the expression “in the beginning God created heaven and earth” The word “God” here is the Hebrew plural noun “Elohim” This word suggests more than one person and so it could have been rendered Gods but not gods. It is the revelation of the Trinity, It’s the Father plus the Son plus the Holy Ghost equals to One God united in diversity. It is three Persons but One God. We can see this from the plural pronouns that sometimes come with “God” for example: “And God (Elohim) said, let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.” (Genesis 1:26,) The first person to be revealed in the Godhead is the Holy Ghost, “…and the earth was without form, and void…and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. (Genesis1:2) The Holy Ghost is the creator of heaven and He also appears to be the one who not only create but formed the animals of the earth “By His Spirit He hath garnished the heaven; His hands hath formed the crooked serpent” (Job 26; 13) The Spirit is the dispenser of life and the maker of man. “The Spirit of God has made me and the breath of the Almighty has given me life”(Job.33; 4) The bible also calls Him God: “Why hath Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost….you have not lied unto men but unto God” (Acts 5; 3-4.).

The most misunderstood personality in the church today is the Holy Spirit. Certain people think of Him as a dove, some say oil, water wind, seal, and many more. A Fellow in the theological college answered me emphatically the other day when I questioned him, “The Holy Spirit is not a person.” The Bible said He descended gently on Jesus like a dove descends. The Bible calls Jesus the Lamb of God, but you see all these Biblical metaphors should not be taken that literal because careful study of the Word reveals that they are intended to describe the nature of ministry rather than the Person of Christ or the Holy Spirit. We do not expect to get to heaven and meet a Lion on the throne or a lamb, because the Bible calls Jesus both the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God. Neither do we expect to meet a dove flying all over in heaven because the Bible use it to describe the descent of the Holy Spirit and His gentle nature. When I got saved at five When I got saved at five, I fell in love with the Lord Jesus and I was filled with love and affection for others. My dreams were soon getting marred when it became apparent to me that not all Christians love one another and in fact that the church was divided over many issues especially on the subject of the Holy Spirit. I used to hear preachers make Him sound like a Christmas gift or a package when they talk of Him as a “gift” with no sense of personality. Others as I grew began to speak of Him as an influence, a sort of an impersonal force that emanates from God.

As I began to preach in later years I realized that Jesus really presented the Holy Spirit as a Personality like Himself and I decided to go for the Word and agree with It in spite of the traditional teachings on the Holy Spirit. “And I will pray the father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever” (John 14; 16) The truth I’ve been able to draw has been that if the Holy Spirit is a power in our thinking, then we I’ll try to grab “it” take hold of “it” and use “it” for our purpose but if He is a divine Person, then it is He who makes the plans and carries them out and we have nothing to do except to surrender ourselves to Him in full, to be used for the Masters good will and purpose,  so it is God the Holy Ghost working in us both to will and to do according to His good pleasures ( Philippians 2:13). The Spirit is the Lord of liberty that brings freedom into the spirit of our minds to worship God in freedom and in truth. “Now THE LORD IS THAT SPIRIT: and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). Jesus’ introduction of the Holy Ghost The Lord Jesus is the best Person Who introduced the Holy Spirit to humanity. He knows everything about Who the Spirit really Is and giving a careful thought to what Jesus has to say about Him will help clear a lot of confusion. It will lunch us into a deeper realm of communion with this divine Personality who is inexpressibly hungry for true fellowship with the blood bought church of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus speaks of Him as of a Person; He was so much acquainted with Him. He uses a masculine pronoun for Him, which can only be used in reference to a person, although grammatically it ought to be a neuter pronoun because the word “Spirit” (pneuma) in Greek is neuter but Christ knows the Holy Ghost better than call Him an “it”. So He said the following words of Him: First He calls Him “another comforter” using the Greek word “allos” which meansanother of the same kind and quality rather than “heteros” which is another of different kind and quality. Jesus actually meant that the Holy Ghost is as much God as Himself and the Father. That’s why 1 John 5; 7 says: “For there are three that bear record in heaven the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” Then Jesus declared the time span of our relationship with the Sprit “That He may be with your for ever” 

The Holy Spirit is given to the church forever, not like He seldom falls on the Old Testament saints, then withdraws back to heaven; but to be with us forever.  Jesus went further to explain why the world cannot accept the Holy Spirit“because it does not see Him”. You see, the problem of the world is that it’s made up of natural men who cannot believe beyond their senses, those folks cannot receive the Holy Spirit because they cannot see Him, but we can because we have been born again – recreated in God’s Spirit with potentials to see beyond the natural. The Lord went further to declare the teaching ministry of the Holy Ghost “He shall teach you all things” (John 14:16, 17, and 26.) You see it only takes the One that knows all things to teach all things and that’s Who we have in the Holy Ghost. We will not lack the knowledge of anything if we allow Him to teach us all things as the Word says. He really craves to make the Word good.

From the introduction of Jesus we understand that the Holy Spirit is a divine personality just like Himself because Jesus called Him another comforter like Himself. Then, the question is that of a physical body. Does He have a physical body? The Bible teaches that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Who God gave to us. (1 Corinthians 6:19). We are the physical temple of the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ. So the physical temple of the Holy Spirit is the Body of Jesus Christ. He takes His residence in us. This reality must be in our consciousness, more than anything else, we must understand that the secret to a life of victory as God intends is to realize, to become aware in the sense of knowing as in the knowledge of truth. If we want to do what Jesus did and fulfill our purpose on earth as the church, then we must know what Jesus knew while he walked this earth like we do today. Not without the Holy Ghost Jesus while on earth was unable to have any demonstration of divine power until He was united with the Spirit of power at Jordan after the baptism. I believe there was more than water baptism at Jordan for there was the Holy Spirit empowerment. The Spirit overshadowed Him and led Him to the wilderness – that was a start of communion. I believe in all those days in the wilderness it would have been impossible for Jesus to stay and live without the communion of a Comforter – the Holy Spirit. Without doubt this was the reason He was not sent to that wilderness from when he was born till he was filled with the Spirit at Jordan. He couldn’t have coped without the Spirit. Jesus the Son of man Someone may say but He was God? Yeah He sure was and He is but when He was on the earth He did not operate as God but as man. His most frequent expressions of Himself is ‘’The Son of man”.

More than eighty times in the Gospels Jesus calls Himself “the Son of man”. Examples: ”the Son of man” (Mathew 8:20, Mark 2:10, Luke 6:5 and John 1:51) He came to give us the true example of How to live the God life.  God never intended we do a thing without the Holy Spirit. Jesus operated on earth as the Son of man and needed the Spirit and power of God to function, and we are commanded to operate like Him. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”. (Philippians 2:5-8). We derive that Christ is God who became man and as man He was conceived of the Holy Ghost. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, SHE WAS FOUND WITH CHILD OF THE HOLY GHOST” (Mathew 1:18). Jesus was perfect and obedient unto death. We have no problem with the idea of a perfect God but the question we’ve nursed secretly, in our hearts, in the pulpit, among ministers and in the congregation of men is the same question the world have always demanded an answer to, it is “how can a man be obedient and perfect unto death”? The truth about this is Jesus became man to show us how God intended man to live and he has remained the best example of life all through ages past. How did Jesus do it as a Son of man? For us to have this question answered, we must turn to the Word of the living God. We understand that Jesus did not do it by His human strength for God’s infallible Word declares. “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness: FOR BY STRENGTH SHALL NO MAN PREVAIL” (I Samuel 2:9) Jesus as a man could not have prevailed by strength so how did He do it? The answer is there in the Word. “Then he answered and spoke unto me saying…… NOT BY MIGHT OR BY POWER, BUT MY SPIRIT SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS” (Zechariah 4:6.)

So Jesus as the Son of man offered Himself perfectly in absolute obedient not by His human strength but by the eternal, Holy Spirit of the living God. He maintained a good conscience and served God by the Spirit leaving us an example to follow. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH THE ETERNAL SPIRIT OFFERED HIMSELF WITHOUT SPOT to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14) So, finally we have the answer, the answer is not something, not some head knowledge we acquire through our schools but the answer is Somebody – a Personality with divine power and purpose to help us – the very Person of God the Holy Spirit. So Jesus was able to endure all He passed through by the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus knew the Spirit and related with Him. I believe not even one of the Apostles – not even Paul with all his great revelations was able to attain the same degree of communion with the Spirit as Christ, but He enjoyed it to a degree that gave him experiences in the supernatural which words can’t completely describe so he desired that the communion of the Holy Spirit be with the church of Jesus Christ not just a part of the body but all – every member. “….. And the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all, Amen.” (2 Corinthians 13:14) There is no limit to the depth we can reach in the fellowship of the Spirit. It’s a conscious act of practicing the invisible presence of God. It’s a reality that the senses can’t comprehend, but a faith life that produces real result. It’s relating with the Spirit and the Word of God.

As the communion grows deeper, we are caught away in greater awareness of the indwelling and abiding presence of the Master which produces in us an awareness of togetherness that is beyond falling away into sin consciousness. It gives us a better consciousness of righteousness, the exercising of the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. We become aware we’re always accepted in the beloved. The Spirit is given to us to remain with us forever as a comforter, help, standby, support, intercessor, friend, teacher, legal adviser, and Lord who works in us. We begin to finally understand the meaning of a surrendered life where we can truly say to the Master “all of you and none of me.” As the Spirit makes the Word of God alive to us, our interest and understanding of the Word is increased. We will want to worship more in quiet and soberness of mind. Only then can we be the church God intended to build in Christ, only then can we do greater works, only then can we influence the world to a degree that God calls “true revival”. When we get to the level where our hearts are hungry for nothing but God; when we reach the stage where we thirst for nothing but the living water; when we want God more than all that the world has to offer; when we are completely sold out to Love; more than our partners and family; more than our businesses and education, only then can we really live a life that is sold out totally to the Master. Then we can say in much truth than that of Peter before he was filled with the Spirit “You know I love You Lord.” Only then can the Church of Jesus Christ as the bride come into a degree of unity and maturity where she’s ready to say with the Spirit “Come Lord Jesus” “The (Holy) Spirit and the bride [the church, the true Christians] say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desire to do it, let him come and take and appropriate(drink) the Water of Life without cost. (Rev 22:17 Amplified).

The Holy Spirit anoints you if you’re yielded to Him. It’s that anointing that cause you to live a Christian life. The Holy Spirit is in the ministry of making us more like Christ everyday as we fellowship with Him in obedience. In this understanding, the apostle Paul prayed “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” 2 cor.13; 14

The anointing flows as a river of love, from the Spirit of grace, in the hearts of yielded believers. God anoints people that loves Him more than they love their own self and that love others as themselves. As we open our hearts to love others God’s anointing flows through us. When we close our hearts to others and grieve the Holy Spirit the flow stops in other to call us back into our love walk. (1 John 3:17 NKJV) But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? (Proverbs 4:23 NKJV) Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is given to people to demonstrate God’s love and power. The name Christ means the “the anointed One and His anointing”. Because Christ is in us the same anointing that He had on earth we also have NOW. (Luke 4:18-19 NKJV) “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; {19} To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

The anointing is the burden removing, yoke destroying, power of God! It’s simply the supernatural power of God Almighty.

Purpose of the anointing.

1. The anointing is given to preach the gospel to the poor. The anointing is not meant for sitting, it’s meant for going. When God anointed Jesus, He did not sit down-celebrating the unction but Acts 10:38 says He went about, doing good, healing all those who were oppressed of the devil.

2.The anointing is given to heal and restore people

3. The anointing is given to proclaim freedom to the captives

4. The anointing is given to open blind eyes

5. The anointing is given to set people free.

The anointing flows in God’s timing and proclaims God’s timing.

The anointed person must go to people that can receive it. (Matthew 13:57-58 NKJV) So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” {58} Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (Matthew 10:13-14 NKJV) “If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. {14} “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 2. The anointing is given to heal and restore people (Acts 10:36-38 NKJV) “The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ; He is Lord of all; {37} “that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: {38} “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 3. The anointing is given to proclaim freedom to the captives (2 Timothy 2:24-26 NKJV) And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, {25} in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, {26} and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. 4. The anointing is given to open blind eyes (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV) But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, {4} whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (Revelation 3:18 NKJV) “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

The anointing is given to set people free (Isaiah 10:27 NKJV) It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.(John 8:36 NKJV) “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

6. The anointing flows in God’s timing, and also proclaims God’s timing (Ephesians 2:10 NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. As we walk in the anointing of God we go where God wills, do what God wills, and say what God wills. (John 8:28-29 NKJV) Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. {29} “And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” The anointing of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God (John 4:10 NKJV) Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:13-14 NKJV) Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, {14} “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 7:37-39 NKJV)

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. {38} “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” {39} But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (2 Corinthians 1:20-22 NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. {21} Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, {22} who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. The anointing gives wisdom (1 John 2:20 NKJV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. (1 John 2:27 NKJV) But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (Isaiah 11:2 NKJV) The seven fold works of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. (Daniel 12:3 NKJV) Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. (Proverbs 11:30 NKJV) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. (Psalms 90:12 NKJV) So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom
